Dry, sheltered places — sheds, outdoor furniture.
Where Found in Thailand
Occasional in Thailand, more common in dry zones.
Symptoms
- Severe pain
- Sweating
- Muscle cramps
- Nausea
- Hypertension
First Aid — DO
- Apply ice pack
- Keep calm
- Hospital for antivenom
DO NOT
- DO NOT apply pressure bandage (worsens pain)
